Spirit
in the Wood Congas are made from a hollowed log similar to the way djembes are
made. The incredible beauty of the continious grain and the superior sound from
one piece of wood makes Spirit in the wood congas unique. Special requests for
woods, finishes and heads are the norm at Spirit in the Wood. The drum pictured
here is made of Black Walnut and it is headed with a dark cow hide. It's sound
is incomparable to any production manufactured conga.
