Drum Caps are made with the same protective layers as our drum bags.
The outside is beautiful, authentic African mud cloth, woven on traditional
village looms.
Then there is a layer of industrial tyvek to protect the drum from wetness.
A thick layer of padding protects the drum head from bumps and an inner soft
cotton layer completes the protection. In addition there is a pouch in
the inside to keep a bag of dryer to keep your drum head dry and tight in
humid weather. Every Drum Cap comes with one bag of dryer material
that can be refreshed by baking in an oven.
