Kessing Kessing mounted on Djembe

Kessing kessing are the metal shakers on the drum.  The master djembe players almost always use them. KessingKessing adds a metallic rattle and more important, they reflect the sound of your drum back to you.  This really helps when playing in an active drum circle.  It is really important to hear yourself play.  Spirit in the Wood Kessingkessing are made of bright sheet steel and are designed to be inserted in slots cut in the side of the drum skin, in the traditional way.
